I am an artist who strives to capture the social and political narratives of our times in contemporary settings. I celebrate texture and form to capture the depths and meaning of this storytelling,  using paint, fabric, cloth and other materials that inspire and help to bring an understanding to the work. I am fascinated by how society reacts to both adversity and peace, either internally or externally. There has to be both a spiritual and aesthetic reaction to the work that satisfies the beholder or surprises them. So I tell stories with the words of paint.
